Cindy Trestman Artist

Cindy Trestman is based in Glencoe, Il. A proud mother of two daughters, she is an abstract artist living in the moment. 

 

Cindy’s creates each piece with fluid acrylics and a catalyst wedge and uses color, depth, and movement to evoke positive energy in her work. “I like painting with a lot of color, warm and cool. Happy art. Being self-taught gives me no parameters on what is right or wrong, and painting gives me the encouragement and freedom to create from my heart…it’s about what comes natural to me.’

In addition to her art, she has been involved in many philanthropic projects in the North Shore and Chicagoland. Having experiencing Alzheimer firsthand with her mother, she is a dedicated advocate to help raise awareness and funding to benefit Alzheimer’s research.

Selleria Veneta, an artisan boutique offering exclusive, luxurious Italian leather goods and accessories, will be hosting an evening with artist, Cindy Trestman at their Winnetka boutique. The two-day event will showcase original artwork and prints in acrylic abstract expressions. Enjoy complimentary lite bites and refreshments while you shop for an original beautiful work of art or print to complement your home or office. A strong advocate for Alzheimer’s research, Cindy will be donating 10% of proceeds from art sales to the Alzheimer's Association.
